What is Prescrivia?

Prescrivia is a third-party communication platform that connects patients with independent, EU-registered doctors and licensed EU pharmacies. We are an intermediary — we do not employ doctors, operate pharmacies, sell medicines, or provide medical care directly.

How does the consultation process work?

Complete a medical questionnaire (approximately 3 minutes). An independent EU-registered doctor reviews your case within 24 hours. If the doctor determines treatment is appropriate, they issue a prescription. A licensed pharmacy then dispenses and ships via DHL Express, and you receive tracking with delivery in 24–48 hours.

Are the doctors licensed?

Yes. All doctors on our platform are fully licensed, independent medical professionals registered with their respective national medical councils in the EU. They make all clinical decisions independently.

Is my information secure?

Yes. We use 256-bit SSL encryption, GDPR-compliant systems, and strict access controls. Only authorised professionals involved in your care can access your information.

What if I am not approved for treatment?

If the independent doctor determines that treatment is not suitable for you, you will receive a full refund of the platform fee within 5–7 business days. Your health and safety are the top priority.

How is the medication delivered?

All medications are delivered by licensed pharmacies in plain, unmarked packaging for your privacy. You can track your delivery every step of the way. Delivery is via DHL Express across the EU.

Does Prescrivia employ the doctors?

No. Prescrivia is a technology intermediary only. All doctors are independent, self-employed medical professionals. Prescrivia does not direct, supervise, or employ any healthcare professional on the platform.

What is the 14-day cooling-off period?

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason, provided the service has not yet commenced. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
